Message from the Principal

Jennifer Perez
Principal of Trinity

Dear Plato Academy Family,

My name is Jennifer Perez and I have the great honor of being Principal at our newest Plato Academy campus in Trinity. Plato Academy Trinity will be our 8th campus and our first in Pasco County. I have had the distinguished opportunity of being part of the Plato Family for four years; one year as a 3rd grade teacher and three years as Principal at our St. Petersburg location where we earned an “A” grade for the 2015-2016 school year.

At Plato Academy, we work daily to ensure our mission is thriving - “The mission of Plato Academy Charter Schools is to assist students in achieving their full potential by requiring and nurturing high academic and behavioral standards in a safe, supporting, challenging and enthusiastic environment fostered by a commitment and cooperative effort between the school, students, parents and community.”

Education is a joint venture between school and home. As we work with our students to help them learn about the world around them through the prescribed curriculum, we very much appreciate the support that parents give their children at home as they strive to reach their learning goals. The foundation of a successful school is the cooperation between the students, staff, parents and community.

I encourage you to monitor our school's website for important information such as school uniforms, upcoming dates, school supplies, as well as other pertinent information that all parents/guardians should know for the school year.

I look forward to meeting each of you and partnering with each parent, family member, and community member to offer the best possible education for our students at Plato Academy Trinity.

Jennifer Perez, M.Ed
Principal, Plato Academy Trinity

Plato Academy Trinity—the 8th and newest Plato Academy school—will open for the 2015-2016 school year on August 15th, 2016. The school will serve grades K-2 in its first year and will add grade levels once the brand new facility is completed. There will also be a VPK class during the first year the school is open. Plato Academy Trinity offers before and after care and after school clubs.

We are pleased that we will be able to serve families in Pasco County with another excellent Plato Academy school, satisfying a great demand for more school choice in South Pinellas County. Prior to the announcement of the opening of the new school, over 400 applicants from Pasco families were already on the wait-lists for Plato Academy schools in Pinellas County. Plato Academy Trinity will prove to be an excellent educational opportunity for all the students it serves.

Like its sister schools, Plato Academy Trinity will offer a private school experience in a public school setting. Students will enjoy accelerated learning opportunities, enrichment in art, music, and PE as well as learn Greek language and culture. Plato Academy’s high behavior and academic standards promote an enthusiastic learning environment for the whole child.
