Several Plato Academy campuses held or participated in memorial events to honor those who lost their lives and those who gave theirs to save others 17 years ago on September 11th, 2001.

Students of Plato Academy Palm Harbor paid tribute along with members of St Alfred’s Episcopal Church as they raised the flag and sang the “The Star-Spangled Banner”, “America the Beautiful”, and “My Country ‘tis of Thee”. Clearwater Campus students held a moment of silence at 08:46 am. Students from Tampa participated in the rising of the flag after a speech from their principal. Mrs. Law’s 2nd grade class of Plato Trinity created a booklet dedicated to some of the Heroes of September 11th. These are just some of the ways our students and schools chose to remember.
