Committed to a Culture of Excellence in Academics, Teamwork, and Citizenship
Members of the Plato Academy family know that when we talk about academic excellence, it is about much more than standardized test results. The numbers and comparisons above are but a snapshot of the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, and principals. There are more than 170 other days in the school year that we enthusiastically educate the whole child.

High Expectations for Outstanding Teachers

Plato Academy teachers receive full support, supplies, and free reign to deliver curriculum in unique and exciting ways. Teachers, not programs, are the key drivers of student achievement – and by tapping into the knowledge, talent and passion of teachers, we achieve ground-breaking results. The interviewing process for new hires is extensive; only the teacher who is the best fit for a certain grade level at a particular school is selected. Plato Academy receives applications in the thousands from teachers for its schools. In return for the autonomy and resources they are provided, Plato Academy teachers are expected to work intelligently and with passion.
A Systems Approach Infused with Integrity and Fidelity
Loyal, hard-working people, reliable materials, moral ideas, and honest communications all come together at Plato Academy with positive results. The secret of our success is our uniting purpose: the continuous improvement of student performance. Our mission unites us and drives our actions—it is our identity. By challenging our students to discover and pursue varied interests and explore new possibilities at Plato Academy, we give them intrinsically valuable reasons to master skills that prepare them for any test and, more importantly, for happy and successful lives.
