AdvancED is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that accredits primary and secondary schools. Using a set of rigorous research-based standards and evidence based criteria, the AdvancED Performance Accreditation team examines the whole institution of our school system, meaning our policies, programs, practices, learning conditions and cultural context – to determine how well the parts work together to carry out Plato Academy’s vision and how we meet the needs of every learner.
Plato Academy worked collaboratively through a process of internal review and toward an intensive external review process in which we successfully demonstrated compliance with 5 standards for continuous improvement.
