DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Annual Olympic Ceremony at Plato Academy Largo! \nDate: Monday\, March 12\, 2025\nTime: 10:00 AM\nLocation: Plato Academy Largo \nPlato Academy Largo is set to host its annual “Ancient Greek Olympics” on Monday\, March 10\, 2025. The event will begin with an Opening Ceremony from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM\, featuring a “Parade of Athletes\,” a choir performance by the 5th-grade students singing “The Kids from Piraeus\,” (“Τα παιδιά του Πειραιά”) traditional dances by the 8th grade\, and a 6th-grade torch relay leading to the lighting of the Olympic flame. The first athletic event\, the 40-Yard Dash\, will follow\, with medals awarded to the top three boys and girls. Organized by the Greek Department— Mr. Ioannis Giavaras\, Mrs. Chrisa Kapnogiannis\, and Mr. Kyriakos Bachtalias—the event is supported by coaches Mr. Robert Corman\, Mrs. Jeanna Jimenez\, and Mr. Thomas Bianchi\, along with art and music contributions from Mrs. Berthold and Mr. Tom. \nParents\, family members\, and community supporters are all welcome to attend this celebration of physical achievement and school pride. \n  \n  \nClick on the link below to read more about the 2024 celebration \n  \nFrom Classroom to Stadium
