Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and firefighters from the local fire station will be visiting to share their experiences and teach our students about their vital roles in our community. \nThe day will be filled with interactive presentations and demonstrations\, providing students with a valuable understanding of the important work that these heroes do every day. We believe this will be a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn about safety\, teamwork\, and community service in a hands-on and engaging way. \nTo make the day even more special\, we are thrilled to host a BBQ lunch provided by All Pro Dad. This will be a great chance for students and their families to enjoy a delicious meal together and build community spirit. With help from our sponsors\, this lunch will be provided for free. DESCRIPTION:As hard as it is to believe\, the holiday season is upon us! For the P.E. Department at Plato Academy St Petersburg\, this means it’s almost time for our 11th Annual Jingle Bell Jog! \nThis event in the past has been a huge success and super fun times for the kiddos simultaneously. This event aims to celebrate the holidays with a fun run while also raising funds to help support the P.E. program. Our last Jingle Bell Jog raised over $5\,000 for the P.E. program. We were able to purchase new basketballs\, footballs\, speakers\, scooters\, gymnastics mats and so much more. This year\, we would love to achieve a goal of raising $6\,000. \nTo continue the growth and innovation of the P.E. department\, the funds raised this year will go towards purchasing better sports equipment for middle school\, more fitness equipment\, equipment packages for elementary and additional storage.
