DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a spooktacular time at our annual Trunk or Treat event! We can’t wait to see your creative decorations\, costumes\, and Halloween spirit. This event is a fun way for families\, staff\, and students to celebrate the season together! \nWhat is Trunk or Treat?\nFor those new to our Plato Academy community\, Trunk or Treat is a festive event where we park our cars\, decorate the trunks\, hatchbacks\, or truck beds\, and hand out treats to our students. It’s a wonderful way to spread joy and bring Halloween fun to our kids! \n  \nImportant Details: \n\nTreats: Please bring enough candy for approximately 400 students.\nSet Up: The parking lot will open at 9:00 AM for set up. Make sure your car is decorated and ready by 10:45 AM. For safety reasons\, we ask that all cars remain parked and stationary once the event begins.\nShade & Comfort: It can get pretty warm out\, so feel free to bring a tent for shade\, as well as a cooler with cold drinks\, snacks\, and lunch. The event will run through lunchtime.\nParking: Spaces are first-come\, first-serve\, and there will be someone directing you to your spot upon arrival.\n\n  \nDon’t forget\, we’ll be holding a contest for the Best Decorated Trunk and Best Costume! The winners will receive an amazing gift basket packed with goodies and gift cards. So bring your A-game and make your trunk stand out! \nThank you for helping make this event a success—we’re looking forward to a frightfully good time!

Our fundraising goal this year is $30\,000\, and proceeds will support various initiatives at Plato Academy Clearwater. We were able to build a brand new expansion to our playground with the funds raised last year. On Saturday\, November 23rd\, EVERYONE is invited to an awesome time watching our Stanley Cup Champions\, The Tampa Bay Lightning tear up the ice as they defend against the Dallas Stars.
