Plato Academy Palm Harbor Families,
It is a great honor to be a leader at the school that I helped to open eight years ago. I started as a second-grade teacher with Mr. Donnelly teaching third grade at the Palm Harbor campus. Our small staff came together to lay the foundation for an amazing school. I moved into the assistant principal position at Palm Harbor and learned my leadership skills under the direction of Mr. Donnelly. After one year, I was moved to Pinellas Park to open a new campus as the principal. I was there for three years and was asked to move back home to Palm Harbor where my youngest daughter has been a student since kindergarten.
At Plato Academy, our mission is to assist students in achieving their full potential by nurturing high academic and behavioral standards in a safe, supporting, challenging and enthusiastic environment fostered by a commitment and cooperative effort between the school, students, parents, and community. It is imperative that we work together as a family to ensure that EVERY student reaches their full potential. It is my goal to do all that I can as a leader to make this happen. Every child is important and I want each of them to strive to be the best they can be.
I am looking forward to being back home with the teachers and students that I have known and loved for years, and to meet the new families and friends that have joined our school family. I pledge to do all that I can to continue to make Plato Academy Palm Harbor an amazing school where the students excel. Thank you for this opportunity!

Plato Academy Schools are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and schools as managed by AdvancED. SACS provides nationally recognized accreditation, the purpose of which is continuous school improvement focused on increasing student performance. To earn accreditation, schools must meet SACS CASI’s high standards, be evaluated by a team of professionals from outside the school and implement a continuous process of school improvement.
