With great pleasure, Plato Academy Schools Board of Directors has welcomed two new members, increasing its membership to five. One new member represents the Hillsborough School District and the other the Pasco. They join the three existing members representing Pinellas, and now all districts/counties where Plato campuses are located enjoy direct Board representation.
Ms. Caitlin Clemens is a graduate of the University of Florida. She worked as an editor for an international accounting journal, an academic textbook company, and various authors. She also worked as a fundraiser, running large events for the March of Dimes in Tampa and Pinellas County. During Plato Academy Trinity’s first years, she served as Vice President of the PTO. Two of her children currently attend the Plato Academy, and she is dedicated to ensuring Plato’s successful future.
Dr. Norrine Russell, who holds a PhD in psychology, is owner and CEO of Russell Coaching, LLC in Tampa Bay, which provides coaching and consultation to students, parents, and schools. She was CEO of the Ophelia Project and Boys Initiative of Tampa Bay, Director of the Center for Girls at the YWCA of the City of New York, and Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Minnesota. She is passionate about helping students become well-educated citizens, prepared for the future with knowledge, critical thinking skills, and social and emotional skills that will enable them to make the world a better place. Both of her children attend the Plato Academy.
