Amy Hayes, Chief of Schools
Amy is a returning Plato Academy family member. She started her journey at Plato in 2007 teaching 2nd grade, moved to ESE Compliance, and then served as the Principal of Largo from 2010-2015.
Amy has served in public education for sixteen years. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University and holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. In her time away from Plato Academy, Amy served as the Director of Charter Schools and Home School Education for Pinellas County Schools and as Board Secretary of the Florida Association of Charter School Authorizers a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring best practices of Florida charter school authorization across the state.
Amy has been married for 16 years to her husband, Paul Hayes. They have 2 daughters, Erin and Niah.
Dawn Parker, Chief of Staff Development
Dawn Parker has earned a Bachelor of Psychology with a minor in Sociology from University of Maryland, a Master of Education with an Emphasis in Counseling from University of La Verne California, and a Master of Educational Leadership from University of West Florida.
With 34 years of experience in education, leadership, and commitment to empowering all learners to reach their full potential, Mrs. Parker has served as an English Language Examiner with the University of Michigan’s ESOL program in Greece for 10 years, Dean of Students and Counselor for 8 years at a college in Athens Greece. She has taught 4 years as an elementary teacher of which three were with Plato Academy Clearwater. She served as an Assistant Principal, Principal, Academic Director and Student Coordinator with Plato Academy Schools. Mrs. Parker has been with Plato Academy as of 2007.
Dawn prides herself on her family, her husband and daughter, Kostas and Elizabeth and their prized cat Psipsinel.
Danielle Cicetti, Chief of Academics
Danielle Cicetti has been a member of the Plato Academy family since 2007 when she started as Plato Clearwater’s first 5th grade teacher. She opened Plato Seminole in 2011 and then opened Plato Tarpon in 2012. She has served as the Chief Academic Officer and, most recently, as the Interim Senior Director for Plato Academy Schools.
Danielle has over 20 years in the field of education. She holds a Master of Special Education and reached candidacy in a PhD program for Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida. She also holds a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida.
In addition to her career at Plato Academy, she is most proud of her three sons, all Plato alumni, Nicholas, Carlo and Stefan.
