Dear Plato Academy Family,

I am honored to be part of the Phoenix Family as your Principal starting the 2021 -2022 school year and serving Plato Academy Schools for the past fourteen years.  We believe that learners in our educational community should be provided with ample opportunities to explore, learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.   We work hard to create a school where student’s interests can be used to propel their academics,  as well as their social and emotional well being.   We believe in a strong partnership and open communication with our parents and wider community, as it is essential for our students’ success.

At Plato Academy Schools, we have much to be proud of and celebrate. Two areas of pride are academics and a caring environment.    Having our students not only be challenged with the regular subjects but also learn about the Greek language, culture and traditions is one of the many areas that we take pride in.  Our educators are committed to our students and work together to ensure that they come first while providing  quality instruction in a nurturing and caring environment.

As your Principal, I pledge that we will do our best to ensure that each child is challenged, nurtured and provided with a safe and stimulating learning experience.

Sincerely,

Dawn Parker

“Plato Academy has music, art, and Greek. Plato Academy is fun because bullying isn’t allowed here. My teacher is smart and very nice.”

“ I am writing to you to tell you that almost halfway through my 8th-grade year I realized what Plato Academy has taught me. Not only was it my home away from home for 8 wonderful years but going to school there every day prepared me for high school. I could never imagine growing up in a different school. I miss everything about Plato Academy and sometimes wish I was a student there.”
