One of the components of our mission statement at Plato Academy is to challenge our students in safe and supporting environment. Educators at Plato Academy Schools enact this mission daily by stressing the importance of being a person of good character, reinforcement of being a responsible and caring citizen, and by holding overall high behavioral expectations in the school environment.

At Plato Academy Clearwater Student Council and National Junior Honor Society hosted a table in the courtyard where students were able to write positive compliments on name badges and wear them throughout the day.

Research shows that if students feel connected to one adult on campus or have just one friend, attendance improves, academic achievement improves, and it just makes for a better world. Families can do their part. See the link below to read about Sandy Hook Promise and Start With Hello efforts you can do at home as a family.

The students at Plato Academy St. Petersburg chose to participate wearing green shirts!
