Who we are!
A family that cares about the future of all its members

Plato Academy is a Family! We are a group of educators dedicated to success by creating a culture of collaboration and mutual respect for ideas, beliefs, and opinions.

Digital technologies are transforming our classrooms today. For example, since its release in the spring of 2010 the iPad has taken education by storm, and data show that iPad adoption by classrooms across the world will only keep accelerating. Other tablets, Android and Windows-based, are also on the rise as educators, parents, students, and stakeholders across the globe realize that technology enhanced the educational experience.

During the school years 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, and 2014-2015 Plato Academy implemented 1:1 iPad and Windows laptop programs. Preliminary data show that the students’ performance increased by 24% in reading, by 25% in math and by 27% in science.

In the school year 2013-2014, our 4th-grade math and science initiative for 1:1 iPad for Math and Science Classrooms was the most successful of all.

The students in that class scored the highest scores in the state of Florida on the fourth-grade math FCAT test, as 100% of the students scored at or above level.

Why you should not miss this conference!

We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experiences with technology with other educators so that they will be successful in their classrooms. We are committed to providing educational technology learning opportunities for teachers who are willing to break the boundaries of traditional learning in order to create spaces for innovation in the classroom.

We are teachers just like you!

All of our presenters are currently classrooms teachers. We are all teachers like you. We are facing the same dilemmas as you. We are confronted by the same challenges as you. We are striving for the success of our students like you do. We share with you the same passion for our profession and we want to share with you all the knowledge we have gained, so that you will avoid our mistakes and you will build on our successes.

Conference Location

For the 2014-2015 school year, Plato Academy, and Superior Schools opened its brand new state of the art campus located in Clearwater, Florida. Due to popular demand, the ST4T Suggested PD Paths will be back this year.  You can check out last year’s paths below.  Please check back with us soon, for the new and updated list of the ST4T 2018 Suggested PD Paths

Last year, we are offered the following paths:
