Dear Warrior Families,
Our goal here at Plato Tarpon PTO is to encourage interaction between our families and the school. We want a safe environment for our children to thrive and succeed, academically and socially.
This year will hold many challenges and changes. Virtual opportunities will present in many ways and we will work in our best capacity to ensure all areas still flow accordingly.
Your dedicated volunteer participation, and monetary dues or donations contribute to the success of school events like the Fundraisers,Community Outreach, Family Dances, Teacher Appreciation, Book Fair and so many more!
Warrior Plato Family connections are accessed via email, PTO website, calendar of events and quarterly updates, Fb events and announcements.
We offer flexible volunteer opportunities to all to assist in making this year great for our Warrior Community.

PATS Warriors PTO Board
Plato Families, I am excited to serve you as this years PTO President. Plato has been our family’s home for over 10 years and I have worked closely with PTO every year through the front office. My goal this year is to build a strong community between parents, staff and students. After all we are all here for one common purpose, and that is our children. Please if you have any questions, ideas, or just want to say hi to introduce yourself and your family, please reach out. Looking forward to a fun filled year!
My name is Matt Samnik and I will be your PTO Vice President for the 2021-2022 school year. My family and I have been at PATS since 2015 when my oldest son was in VPK. I have 2 boys that are in 6th grade and 3rd grade. I have worked with a lot of great people while volunteering my time with numerous Christmas parades, fun runs, fundraisers and our school playground to name a few. I am looking forward to working with our PTO team, parents and faculty to make this the best year yet.
Sports and Entertainment banker at First Horizon. Meriam has served the banking community throughout her 18 year career in various roles such as mortgage banking, underwriting, private client and commerical/large corporate. She enjoys working as a strategic partner with her clients to ensure they succeed finically while achieving their short and long term goals. She spends all her free time with her daughter in 1st grade. The girls enjoy going on adventures together and discovering new places
Hello, my name is Erin Georgopoulos and I will be your PTO Secretary for the 2021-2022 school year. My family has been at PATS since 2017 when my daughter started kindergarten. I have a daughter in 4th grade and a son in 1st. I have been involved in many aspects of volunteering during my time with Plato from room parent, classroom help and PTO activities. I look forward to helping make this school year fun for parents and students.
