    Greetings, Plato Seminole Families!

As we enter the month of May and approach the final stretch of our school year, it is a time to steady our hearts in the midst of busy days and full schedules. This has been a remarkably busy year with so much to celebrate, and while the next four weeks will certainly fly by, we want to ensure we finish with the same excellence and community spirit that defines the Phoenix family.

May is a unique month on our campus, balancing the focus required for our FAST and End-of-Year testing with the joy of our final traditions. While we are busy measuring the incredible academic growth our students have made, we are also preparing for the celebrations that make this time of year so memorable, from Field Day to our 8th Grade Graduation.

This week, I ask you to join me in showing our teachers some extra appreciation during National Teacher Appreciation Week. Our educators are the heart of our school, and their dedication is the reason our students thrive. When things feel rushed and schedules are full, it is our teachers who pause long enough to truly see and connect with each child.

Please remember that these final weeks are deeply meaningful.

Each child in our care is here for a reason, and the time we have left together still holds great impact. As we move toward the finish line, let’s aim to finish strong, with grace, intention, and kindness, trusting that every lesson taught, every word of encouragement, and every seed planted this year will continue to grow far beyond these hallways.

I wish our staff, our students, and our families strength, peace, and unity as we close out this wonderful year together.

    In Partnership,

    Nichole Jones, Principal
