Dear Plato Academy Families,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 10th, from 5:00–6:30 PM.
Elementary Students
The evening will be divided into three 30-minute sessions. Families are welcome to attend the time that works best for their schedule—there’s no need to attend more than one. Your child’s classroom teacher will also send out specific information about their session in the coming days.
Middle School Students
During Middle School Curriculum Night, parents will have the opportunity to follow their child’s daily schedule and visit each of their teachers.
Your class schedule will begin at 5:00 PM and you will visit each of your child’s class periods for 10 minutes. In order to visit each of their 7 seven classes, middle school parents are asked to participate from 5:00-6:30 PM.
In each class, teachers will share curriculum highlights, expectations, and ways to support learning at home. This format allows families to experience a snapshot of their student’s school day and connect with every teacher directly.
The purpose of Curriculum Night is to provide families with a deeper understanding of the grade-level curriculum, classroom expectations, and the learning goals that will guide instruction throughout the year. Teachers will share the strategies and resources they will be using, as well as ways you can partner with us at home to strengthen your child’s academic growth.
At Plato Academy, we believe that a strong home–school connection is key to student success. Curriculum Night is designed to open the door for ongoing communication and collaboration, ensuring that together we can provide the support, encouragement, and consistency students need to thrive.
We look forward to welcoming you on September 10th and beginning a year of partnership and achievement!
