In Their Own Words: Families Celebrate Our Principals During Appreciation Month

Earlier this month, we invited families across our school community to share their thoughts about our building leaders through a brief online survey. The response proved remarkable, parents, guardians, and students took time from busy schedules to articulate what makes their principals exceptional. These authentic reflections, gathered throughout October in honor of National Principals Month, reveal the profound impact our administrative leaders have on daily school life. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and are pleased to share a few of these genuine expressions of appreciation.

Mr. Valsamis is always friendly and out and about with the kids at school. I appreciate that he is out there hanging with the students and helping. Usually the leaders are stuck in offices but he makes it a point to be involved. I know that makes the students happy and as a parent it makes me feel like he cares about the kids. Thank you for all you do for our school and students.

With children going into elementary school for the first time you sit and wonder if you made the right choice. From meet and greet we knew we made the right choice! Principal Valsamis is very involved with all of the students, from his morning high fives to welcome students in the car line to his afternoon farewells. Having a leader who stands beside his staff in the thick of it just shows the kind of leader that he is. We are truly thankful for him and all that he provides to his students and staff at Trinity!

Since you’ve been a principal at the Trinity location, it has been nice to always see you so cheerful in the pick up and drop off line. The kids truly enjoy it and it also sets the tone for the day. I know my daughter has been much happier since you’ve taken over the lead, along with Ms.Klay and Ms.Law. You three are truly wonderful leaders and am blessed that my daughter has the privilege of being part of such a positive and supportive environment. I know its not always easy leading a school, but I just wanted you to know how thankful we are for everything you have done thus far.

I love seeing the love and kindness for our kids that Mr. Valsamis shows every single day!
