Tolerance means accepting and respecting people who are different from us. It looks like including others in games and groups, being patient when someone has a different opinion, and celebrating what makes each person unique. It sounds like kind words, listening without interrupting, and saying things such as: “That’s okay, we don’t all have to agree.” “I like how you do it differently.” “You can play with us.” When we show tolerance, our classrooms and school become places where everyone feels welcome, safe, and valued.

October 13-17, 2025
Dear families,
We had a wonderful short week filled with excitement and learning! Our Kindergarten and First Grade students, under the direction of Ms. Wright, treated us to a delightful performance of English and Greek songs celebrating the season, and they sounded absolutely amazing! Their enthusiasm and hard work truly shined.
Let’s also show our support for our basketball players as they prepare to begin their season in just a couple of weeks. Home games will be held at both the Tarpon Recreation Center and Plato Academy Tarpon Springs, and we can’t wait to cheer them on!
Our PTO has kindly decorated a festive collection bin for candy donations to help make our upcoming Trunk or Treat event on October 31st a sweet success. Any contributions are greatly appreciated.
As a friendly reminder, cell phones are not permitted during the school day. Parents, please help us reinforce this policy at home, both you and your students signed an agreement supporting this important rule to maintain focus and safety on campus.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. Together, we make Plato Academy a place where students learn, grow, and thrive every day!
