Former Students Return to Share High School Insights

Recent graduates of Plato Academy Clearwater returned to campus this week for an engaging exchange with current middle schoolers.

The visit provided eighth graders with firsthand perspectives on the transition to high school. Alumni discussed their experiences navigating course selection, extracurricular activities, and academic rigor at their respective high schools.

What made the session particularly valuable was the genuine curiosity displayed by current students. Their questions ranged from practical concerns about workload management to inquiries about social dynamics and maintaining friendships across different schools.

The graduates, just a year or two removed from their own middle school days, offered relatable advice. They addressed common anxieties about freshman year while highlighting opportunities for growth and new experiences.

Several alumni emphasized the importance of staying organized and advocating for oneself when facing challenges. Others shared how their foundation at Plato Academy prepared them for advanced coursework.
