For over 35 years, ANT1 TV has served as a reliable source of information, entertainment, and inspiration for Greek society. The channel is committed to placing human contribution at the core of its mission.

Guided by the vision of Antenna Group Chairman, Theodore Kyriakou, who firmly believes that children are the foundation of the future, we are dedicating an entire day to those children across Greece who are in need of support and care.

On Monday, December 22nd, ANT1 TV will proudly host a Christmas Solidarity Telethon dedicated to supporting the invaluable efforts of the NGOs: Desmos, ELIZA, SOS Children’s Villages, Floga, and Make-A-Wish. These organizations provide essential services to children in need throughout Greece.

 

From morning until midnight, all ANT1 programs will unite to raise awareness and address urgent needs relating to children’s housing, nutrition, living conditions, and medical care. Your interest and support to this cause will be deeply appreciated.

Presented below is a summary of the NGOs and charitable initiatives we support to assist children in need throughout Greece:

DESMOS

DESMOS Association operates as an effective and reliable connecting link for social contribution in Greece. It matches donations with the recorded needs of organizations and bodies of civil society in an efficient and transparent manner.

Cause: Through this organization, our aim is to cover the basic needs of hospital units in the pediatric and obstetric clinic of the General Hospital of Kefalonia, in the pediatric clinic of the University General Hospital of Larissa, and at the General Children’s Hospital of Patras, Karamandaneio.

 

ELIZA

The ELIZA Association was founded in Greece in 2008, with the sole purpose of protecting children from all forms of abuse and neglect. It provides specialized support to children and vulnerable families, contributing to the creation of safer environments for approximately 100,000 children annually.

Cause: Our goal is to meet the needs of prevention and response programs to child abuse through the Child Safety Care Units at “P & A Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital, the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Attikon University General Hospital, the Pediatric Clinic of Democritus University of Thrace, Alexandroupoli University General Hospital, the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Papageorgiou General Hospital, and the Pediatric Clinic of the University of Patras at Patras University General Hospital.

 

SOS Children’s Villages

Established in 1975, SOS Children’s Villages Greece support children, young people, and families who are in vulnerable situations, with the aim of fostering their development, protection, and gradual independence. They provide care and housing in protective family environments, while also strengthening the family, social, and community support networks of the beneficiaries.

Cause: Our aim is to ensure the coverage of basic and operational needs in the foster homes in Vari, Plagiari in Thessaloniki and Aristino in Alexandroupoli, which provide a protective and loving family environment for children and young people deprived of parental care.

 

Floga

The Parents Association of Children with Cancer, FLOGA, has been by the side of children with cancer and their families for 42 years. They support the operation of the oncology departments of pediatric hospitals and assist in addressing childhood cancer.

Cause: Our priority is to cover the annual maintenance of four guest houses—three in Goudi and one in Holargos—which can host and accommodate up to 50 children with cancer and their families from all over Greece.

 

Make-A-Wish Greece

Established in 1996, Make-A-Wish Greece fulfills the wishes of children with serious illnesses, acting as a source of strength and motivation, so that every child who is ill can continue fighting. A wish becomes an integral part of the journey toward healing, as it helps to strengthen both the physical and mental resilience of the children.

Cause: We strive to fulfill as many wishes as possible for children facing serious illnesses, recognizing that each wish granted is a source of strength and motivation.

ΧΡΙΣΤΟΥΓΕΝΝΙΑΤΙΚΟΣ ΤΗΛΕΜΑΡΑΘΩΝΙΟΣ ΑΝΤ1 ΓΙΑ ΤΑ ΠΑΙΔΙΑ

«Οι ανάγκες που ζητούν τη στήριξη όλων μας»

Λίγες μόνο ημέρες μας χωρίζουν από τον μεγάλο Χριστουγεννιάτικο Τηλεμαραθώνιο του ΑΝΤ1, για τα παιδιά. Για περισσότερα από 35 χρόνια, ο ΑΝΤ1 βρίσκεται πάντα δίπλα στην ελληνική κοινωνία, ενημερώνοντας, ψυχαγωγώντας και εμπνέοντας τους τηλεθεατές. Με βαθιά πίστη στη δύναμη της αλληλεγγύης, έχει κάνει την ανθρώπινη προσφορά αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της ταυτότητάς του, μεταφέροντας ένα διαχρονικό μήνυμα ελπίδας και ανθρωπιάς.

Με την πεποίθηση ότι τα παιδιά είναι η πιο πολύτιμη υπόσχεση για το αύριο, ο ΑΝΤ1 αφιερώνει μια ολόκληρη ημέρα στα παιδιά της πατρίδας μας που χρειάζονται στήριξη και φροντίδα, σε κάθε γωνιά της Ελλάδας.

Τη Δευτέρα 22 Δεκεμβρίου, «ΕΙΜΑΣΤΕ ΕΝΑ» μέσα από έναν Χριστουγεννιάτικο Τηλεμαραθώνιο Αλληλεγγύης για τα παιδιά. Μια μέρα γεμάτη ελπίδα, συγκίνηση και αληθινές ιστορίες, με στόχο την ενίσχυση του έργου των μη κερδοσκοπικών σωματείων Δεσμός, ΕΛΙΖΑ, Παιδικά Χωριά SOS, Η Φλόγα και το Make-A-Wish Ελλάδος, που βρίσκονται καθημερινά δίπλα στα παιδιά που το έχουν ανάγκη.

Όλες οι εκπομπές του ANT1 εκείνη την ημέρα, ενώνουν τις φωνές και τις καρδιές τους σε μια κοινή προσπάθεια για να προσφέρουμε όλοι μαζί ό,τι χρειάζονται τα παιδιά της πατρίδας μας για να μεγαλώσουν με ασφάλεια, αγάπη και ελπίδα.

 

Αναλυτικά οι ανάγκες που ζητούν τη στήριξη όλων μας:

Δεσμός: Μέσω του Σωματείου, στοχεύουμε στο να καλύψουμε βασικές ανάγκες νοσοκομειακών μονάδων στην Παιδιατρική και Μαιευτική κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου της Κεφαλονιάς, στην Παιδιατρική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Λάρισας και στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Πατρών, Καραμανδάνειο.

ΕΛΙΖΑ: Επιδιώκουμε την κάλυψη των αναγκών προγραμμάτων πρόληψης και αντιμετώπισης της κακοποίησης παιδιών μέσω των Μονάδων Φροντίδας για την Ασφάλεια των Παιδιών στο Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Π & Α. Κυριακού, στη Γ΄ Παιδιατρική Κλινική ΕΚΠΑ, στο Πανεπιστημιακό Γενικό Νοσοκομείο ΑΤΤΙΚΟΝ, στην Παιδιατρική Κλινική ΔΠΘ, στο Πανεπιστημιακό Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αλεξανδρούπολης, στην Γ’ Παιδιατρική Κλινική του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παπαγεωργίου και στην Παιδιατρική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών στο ΠΓΝ Πατρών.

Παιδικά Χωριά SOS: Σκοπός μας είναι να διασφαλίσουμε την κάλυψη βασικών και λειτουργικών αναγκών στα σπίτια φιλοξενίας στη Βάρη, στην περιοχή Πλαγιαρίου Θεσσαλονίκης και στο Αρίστηνο Αλεξανδρούπολης, που προσφέρουν ένα προστατευτικό και στοργικό οικογενειακό περιβάλλον σε παιδιά και νέους που έχουν στερηθεί τη γονική φροντίδα.

H Φλόγα: Προτεραιότητά μας είναι η κάλυψη της ετήσιας συντήρησης τεσσάρων σπιτιών φιλοξενίας – 3 στο Γουδί και 1 στον Χολαργό – τα οποία παρέχουν δυνατότητα φιλοξενίας και εξυπηρέτησης έως και 50 παιδιών με καρκίνο, καθώς και των οικογενειών τους, από όλη την Ελλάδα.

Make-A-Wish Ελλάδος: Επιδιώκουμε να εκπληρώσουμε όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερες ευχές παιδιών που αντιμετωπίζουν σοβαρές ασθένειες, αναγνωρίζοντας ότι κάθε ευχή αποτελεί πηγή δύναμης και κινήτρου.

 

 

Ο Χριστουγεννιάτικος Τηλεμαραθώνιος Αλληλεγγύης του ΑΝΤ1 είναι ένα μήνυμα ότι κανένα παιδί δεν πρέπει να νιώθει μόνο. Με την υποστήριξη όλων μας, μπορούμε να γεμίσουμε τις καρδιές τους με ζεστασιά, χαμόγελο και όνειρα. Ας ανοίξουμε όλοι μαζί την αγκαλιά μας και ας προσφέρουμε για να νιώσουν όλα τα παιδιά της πατρίδας μας ασφαλή, αγαπημένα και γεμάτα ελπίδα για το μέλλον.
