Plato Academy Schools are participating in SPARK, (Speaking to the Potential, Ability, and Resilience of every Kid) Pre‐Teen Mentoring Program!
Trained mentors offer youth simple practices to understand and navigate thoughts and feelings – empowering them to uncover their own unlimited potential, creativity, innate health and wisdom.
Middle school students will gain a clear understanding of themselves and others, access their creative intelligence, and cultivate their limitless potential and resiliency through fun and interactive activities!
The spark initiative has been serving the Tampa Bay area since 2006 on a mission to cultivate human potential and resiliency through education and mentoring centered on an understanding of the mind that sparks innate mental health.
Spark mentoring programs were developed to offer young people symbol practices to understand and navigate thought and feeling in a way that cultivates resilience, improves pro, social behaviors, and uncovers each child’s unlimited potential.
This is where our potential, creativity, innate health, and wisdom reside. Once Spark can never be damaged, destroyed, or taken away, but it can get covered up with our personal thinking. By bringing awareness to our thoughts, it becomes much easier to uncover our spark and navigate difficult circumstances.
Spark Preet mentoring programs are aligned with the Florida resilience education standards for grades six through eight.
