The 2023-2024 Plato Academy Sports League Winter II & Spring Sports Banquet was a remarkable event that brought together our vibrant community to celebrate the achievements of our talented student-athletes. This year’s banquet honored the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication that defines the Plato Academy Schools.
Plato Academy Schools’ Athletic Director Justin Davis, highlighted the rich history of Plato Academy Sports. From the early days of competition to our current expanded opportunities, it’s been a journey of growth and excellence. The banquet celebrated the progress made in girls’ sports, the introduction of traveling trophies, and the competitive spirit that has seen our teams excel in tournaments against other schools.
We looked back at past achievements and embraced the present with pride. This year marked several firsts for Plato Academy, including our first-ever All-Star games in ball hockey, girls’ flag football, and boys’ flag football. The sports banquet itself was a testament to the hard work of our athletes and coaches. We also recognized the All-Academic Team members, highlighting the balance our students maintain between sports and academics.
Expanded tournament opportunities, including trips to Disney and participation in NFL Flag and Girls In Flag, showcased our commitment to providing diverse and enriching experiences for our athletes.
We need to express a heartfelt thank you to our school administrators and the many coaches who dedicate their time and expertise to our students. Their leadership and passion are instrumental in guiding our athletes to success. Coaches from all our campuses—including Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, Palm Harbor, Seminole, St. Pete, Tampa, Tarpon Springs, and Trinity—were recognized for their invaluable contributions.
Our student-athletes thrive due to the unwavering support of their parents and the wider Plato Academy community. We extend our deepest gratitude to the parents who cheer from the sidelines and support their children’s athletic and academic endeavors.
The banquet concluded with a celebration of our champions and MVPs. Teams and individuals who stood out this season include:

Congratulations to the Plato Sports League Girl’s All-Academic Team from Plato Academy Palm Harbor and the Boy’s All-Academic Team from Plato Academy Tampa. Our MVPs from each sport were also honored for their exceptional performances and leadership.
