Updated Covid-19 Acknowledgment Form – Replaces Waiver
Dear PAL Families,
For all families, please sign and return Plato Academy’s updated COVID-19 acknowledgement form. For those who filled out the brick and mortar form we are no longer needing that back as our new acknowledgement is meant for all families. Both B&M and Plato Distance Learners, thank you for returning this new form by August 7th.
Please complete and return the attached waiver to Ms. Miranda at email@example.com I apologize for any confusion caused by the 2nd form for some. As our daily changes occur we wish to adapt for the safest and best learning environment for all our students. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your support and being Olympians!

It is Plato Academy’s mission to provide academic excellence incorporating character education. We ensure that our students are learning in a safe and enthusiastic environment in which they enjoy attending daily. We are a family oriented school and feel that the partnership between teachers, staff, parents, and students is valuable and necessary in order for students to succeed.
Each school year is unique and brings exciting new adventures. The end of each school year allows for all of us to reflect and recharge. It is the 180 school days in between that allows us all to achieve our mission statement, make an impact on our students’ lives, and to reach heights beyond expectations.

The mission of Plato Academy Charter Schools is to assist students in achieving their full potential by requiring and nurturing high academic and behavioral standards in a safe, supporting, challenging, and enthusiastic environment, providing a well-rounded K-8 education fortified by a study of the Greek language and culture, and fostered by a commitment and cooperative effort among the school, students, parents, and community: our family.
The vision of the Plato Academy Charter Schools is to progress as a family in which all are teachers and learners and are empowered and encouraged to exceed expectations, resulting in successful graduates ready to advance into their next stage of life, equipped with a well-rounded K-8 education fortified by the study of the Greek language and culture, and excited about continuing to achieve their full potential.
Plato Academy Schools are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and schools as managed by AdvancED. SACS provides nationally recognized accreditation, the purpose of which is continuous school improvement focused on increasing student performance. To earn accreditation, schools must meet SACS CASI’s high standards, be evaluated by a team of professionals from outside the school and implement a continuous process of school improvement.
